Educator (Retired)
Torin has a rich depth of vertical experience teaching all levels of musical instruction from Pre-K to adult. Before Torin retired, he gained extensive experience in all levels of k-12 choral/musical theater teacher, and he has served as Interim-Choral Director at the University level.
To highlight a few career accomplishments, choirs under Wright's direction consistently earned Superior Ratings at festivals, performed at the North Carolina Music Educators State Conference and select students of his have performed in North Carolina Honors Choirs at the Elementary, Middle School and High School level. Additional Educational Merits Include: Founding a former children’s music academy, annually serving as an adjudicator for state sanctioned high school choral festivals and often acting as guest clinician for regional All-County Honor Choirs. Torin has lived in Moore County for since the mid '90's and has a rich network of local and regional professional colleagues with whom he frequently collaborates with on various projects. Wright enjoys helping area or regional businesses and/or clients find the perfect musician, audio and visual projectionist, venue, or skilled trade subcontractor for a variety of events.

Wright has broad experience as a church musician having served choirs, ensembles and praise teams of all age groups for over 20 years. Currently Wright is the Worship Choir Director at Pinehurst United Methodist Church. Torin has also served Southern Pines UMC and Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Freelance Performer

Torin enjoys frequently performing as a freelance vocalist, actor, and conductor. He has performed with ensembles on national and regional stages and has been seen locally singing with the Carolina Philharmonic Choir during special events, acting in musicals such as Forever Plaid or Plaid Tidings, performing in cabarets, leading worship at area churches, or singing the standards. Torin always enjoys stepping in and joining forces with performing groups.
